ELDOA + Myofascial Stretching classes
These classes utilize the ELDOA Method and Myofascial Stretching modalities developed by French Osteopath, Dr. Guy Voyer, D.O. The ELDOA exercises are postural exercises that relieve compression and tension around the joints of the spine, shoulders, hips, and pelvis. The classes are rigorous, yet mindful, and all participants are encouraged to move at their own pace. The class begins with a warm up for the joints, and then uses ELDOA postures and Myofascial stretches to normalize muscle tone, strengthen “core” / postural muscles, and improve body awareness. Over time, this class will improve the student’s posture, relieve pain, and prevent pain / injury recurrence. For the athlete, a regular ELDOA practice will improve sports performance. For the general public, ELDOA classes will promote well-being and contribute to a healthy, strong body at any age.
Things to have handy:
- a cushion or towel
- a chair or stool
- wall space to sit against the wall, or to put your legs up the wall
Pilates + Soma Training "Strength Mat" classes
Exercises inspired by Pilates mat work and Soma Training (ELDOA, Segmental Strengthening, Circulatory exercises, Myofascial Stretching). Class includes a warm-up movement in all planes, strengthening in all positions (quadruped, seated, supine, face-down, standing). Focus is on functional strength for the core muscle group (abs, pelvic floor, spine), as well as hip and shoulder girdles. Note: the class includes spinal flexion and rotation; please let me know if you have osteoporosis / osteopenia.
Things to have handy:
- a cushion or towel
- an exercise band
- light hand weights (1-3 lbs)
In-person ELDOA + MFS classes
In person classes are an excellent way to learn ELDOA if you’re new, or to elevate & enhance your online practice. Of course, it also feels great to work out with other people!

Lots of variety of Pilates-based mat classes. Some ELDOA and stretching classes as well. I teach ELDOA (online) on Mondays 9:30am EST. Sign up on the Inhabit website.
Private lessons
I offer both in-person and online private ELDOA™ or Pilates or Soma Training-inspired lessons. Duets and small groups are also welcome.
In-Person private sessions
Available Sundays in the Riverdale neighbourhood, Toronto. The studio has Pilates equipment and small props. Plan for 60 minutes. 24 hour cancellation policy applies.

Small groups + duets
