"SQUAT AND POSTUROLOGY"
Within the Soma Training system, the squat becomes a way to understand how the body organizes itself under gravity. The focus is on posture, balance, fascial tension, and segmental coordination rather than simply technique or load.
Participants will learn how to assess the body through the gravity line and use the squat as both an evaluation and integration tool. The course builds the squat step by step, developing pelvic organization, abdominal tension, spinal alignment, diaphragm control, and full system integration.
It also introduces the role of the upper fascial system and how it influences global tension and stability.
The goal is to provide a clear framework to assess, understand, and build the squat in a way that is structurally sound and clinically applicable.
Dates: May 16th and 17th

Glutes + Abs
5 weeks from April 1 to April 29
30 minute class every Wednesday at 5:00 pm PST / 8:00 pm EST
This class is a continuation of the abdominal training from our previous Wednesday night series.
When the abdominal muscles in the front of the torso are balanced out with strong glutes at the back of the pelvis, the body is better-aligned, movement becomes more efficient, and strain and tension are naturally diminished.
Join Janine on Wednesday evenings and learn how to train these two essential muscle groups with Soma Training.

Remembering the man behind the incredible ELDOA + Soma Training methods.
Guy VOYER, the creator behind ELDOA, myofascial stretching, and so many other methods that we love, died suddenly on Sunday, June 23rd, 2024. Guy was a brilliant and vibrant person, and a gifted and generous teacher. His work has changed many lives and helped countless people use exercise to live without pain. We feel this profound loss in the ELDOA community – Guy was far from finished teaching his work and sharing his knowledge. He will be missed but certainly not forgotten, and we will strive to continue his legacy “You are your own best therapist” through our online and in-person classes.
